June 2nd, 1941. An unidentified Gunner from No. 6 Battery, 2/3rd Field Regiment back at Alexandria after fighting (and escaping) the fighting around Retimo, Crete. Along with a souvenir of the experience...a Kar 98K sniper rifle.
