HMS Gloucester during the Battle of Crete. On May 22 1941

Chief ERA William Fear was serving on cruiser HMS Gloucester during the Battle of Crete. On May 22 1941 the ship was attacked by numerous Ju.87's of StG.2 Immelmann, sinking after being left by the main force. HMS Fuji helped with dropping Carley floats, before herself being sunk.
